GUYOT SPECIALE

Built by Albert Guyot at Levallois the sports racing models resembled Grand Prix cars of the period. The six-cylinder engines were designed by Cozette with sleeve valves and dimensions of 60.5mm x 86.5mm (1,490cc) and 70mm x 86mm respectively. They were supercharged with four-speed gearbox, multi-plate clutch and semi-elliptic springs front and rear completing the specifications.

Touring models were a similar specification but with longer chassis and the ‘Continental’ featured a quality American six-cylinder engine with dimensions 80mm x 115mm and three-speed gearbox. In 1929 the company listed an eight-cylinder equipped chassis featuring a Continental engine with dimensions 85mm x 114mm.[i] The company was in operation between 1924 and 1931.[ii]
